IPC is proud to offer customers Biodegradable Poly Bags including their zippers, as an option for a Green Solution in your operation. These bags and zippers are made from an innovative material which doesn’t require heat, light or mechanical stress to degrade. Plus, it doesn’t contain heavy metals unlike most degradable products. Products made from this material will biodegrade in any biologically active environment such as landfills, compost piles and even buried in or littered on the ground. Whereas other materials are biodegrading either anaerobically or aerobically, this is certified by the manufacturer to biodegrade as well. Even better this material is transparent and possesses all of the performance properties found in standard polyethylene. There is no special post-use handling required either.

Equally important is where it won’t degrade – warehouses, store shelves and in the home. Degradation begins at time of disposal, not before.
